So the 2026 RAV4 is a whole new generation, and Toyota changed how it sells the RAV4's technology features. On the 2019 to 2025 RAV4, the Technology Package bundled the parking sensors, the 360-degree camera, the wireless charger and more. On the 2026 RAV4, each of those features is either standard on certain trims or part of a smaller option package. So in this guide I'll go over where each of those features ended up on every 2026 trim, and what the smaller 2026 packages cost.
Where each technology feature is on the 2026 RAV4
- Parking assist with automatic braking is standard on every 2026 trim except the LE. Basically, parking assist beeps as you get close to something while parking, and it can hit the brakes for you if you're about to bump into it. Toyota doesn't offer parking assist on the 2026 LE at all.
- The 360-degree camera, which Toyota calls the Panoramic View Monitor, shows a bird's-eye view all the way around the car on the touchscreen. The 360-degree camera is standard on the 2026 XSE, Woodland, Limited and GR SPORT. Toyota doesn't offer the 360 camera on the 2026 LE, SE or XLE Premium, even in a package.
- The 12.3-inch digital gauge screen is standard on every 2026 trim, including the LE.
- The wireless phone charger is standard on the 2026 XLE Premium, XSE, Woodland and GR SPORT, and the 2026 Limited gets two charging pads. Toyota doesn't offer a wireless charger on the 2026 LE or SE.
- The digital rearview mirror can switch from a normal mirror to a live video feed from a camera at the back of the car. The digital rearview mirror is standard on the 2026 Limited. On the 2026 XLE Premium and XSE, the digital mirror only comes in the Panoramic Moonroof Package. Without that package, the 2026 XSE comes with a regular auto-dimming mirror with HomeLink, and so does the 2026 GR SPORT. Basically, HomeLink is a set of buttons on the mirror that can open your garage door or gate.
- The kick-to-open power liftgate opens the back hatch when you swing your foot under the rear bumper with the key on you. The kick-to-open liftgate is standard on the 2026 XSE and Limited, and Toyota doesn't offer it on any other 2026 trim.
- The memory driver's seat remembers your seat position so you can get it back with one button. The memory driver's seat is standard on the 2026 XSE and Limited, and Toyota doesn't offer a memory seat on any other 2026 trim, including the GR SPORT.
- A head-up display projects things like your speed onto the windshield in front of you, so you don't have to look down. A head-up display is a $600 option on the 2026 Limited hybrid, and part of the $1,170 Driver Assist Package on the 2026 XSE plug-in hybrid. Toyota doesn't offer a head-up display on the 2026 XSE hybrid.
- Smart Key lets you unlock the RAV4 just by touching the handle while the key fob is in your pocket. On the 2026 XLE Premium and every higher 2026 trim, Smart Key works on the front doors and the liftgate. On the 2026 LE and SE, Smart Key works on the front doors only. And the 2026 SE can add Smart Key on the liftgate with the $400 Convenience Package.
Something worth noting is that every 2026 RAV4 also has a built-in dash cam that records from the front and rear cameras. The dash cam was never part of the 2019 to 2025 Technology Package.
The tables below show every 2026 trim. "Standard" means the trim comes with that feature. A package name means you get that feature by adding that package. And the starting price is Toyota's price before the destination fee, which is the charge for shipping the car to the dealer that gets added to every new car.

The 2026 packages and what each one costs
So instead of one Technology Package, the 2026 RAV4 has a few smaller packages. Here's every 2026 RAV4 package that includes a technology feature, with Toyota's price for each one.
| 2026 package | Trims and price | What the package includes |
|---|---|---|
| XLE Driver Assist Package | XLE Premium: $650 | Lane Change Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, Traffic Jam Assist and Driver Monitor |
| XSE Driver Assist Package | XSE hybrid: $420 | Self-parking (Advanced Park) and a toggle-switch shifter |
| Driver Assist Package | XSE plug-in hybrid: $1,170 | Self-parking (Advanced Park), a toggle-switch shifter, paddle shifters and a head-up display |
| Panoramic Moonroof Package | XLE Premium: $1,850. XSE hybrid and XSE plug-in hybrid: $700 | Panoramic glass roof with a power moonroof, and the digital rearview mirror with HomeLink |
| JBL Premium Audio Package | XSE hybrid and XSE plug-in hybrid: $620 | JBL 9-speaker audio with a subwoofer |
| Convenience Package | SE hybrid and SE plug-in hybrid: $400 | Power liftgate, which also adds the liftgate to Smart Key |
| Head-up display option | Limited hybrid: $600 | 10-inch color head-up display |
Keep in mind that Toyota's Build and Price site says some of these 2026 packages need other changes to the car when you add them. But Toyota's site only shows which changes once you enter a ZIP code. So before you order, I'd ask the dealer which package combinations work on the exact trim and color you want.
How the 2026 technology features work
Now the 2026 RAV4 is new enough that there aren't many owner reports yet. So here's what reviewers and the first 2026 RAV4 owners say about these features so far.
- The 2026 RAV4's 12.3-inch gauge screen has no shade over it. Reviewers point out that the 2026 RAV4's gauge screen no longer sits under the curved cover that usually shades the gauges. Toyota says the screen has a matte finish to cut glare, and so far I haven't found a 2026 owner on the forums complaining about glare. You can choose what the gauge screen shows, like tire pressures and trip meters.
- The 2026 RAV4's self-parking works, but Advanced Park isn't perfect. Advanced Park is Toyota's name for self-parking. Basically, Advanced Park can back into a space, pull into a space or parallel park, and the RAV4 does the steering, braking and shifting. Andre Drives, the reviewer in the first video below, still keeps his foot near the brake, because the self-parking isn't perfect.
- The digital mirror can look cloudy at night. A 2026 Limited owner says headlights behind him look foggy at night in the digital rearview mirror, although the picture is clear in daytime.
- The 360 camera works at highway speed. A 2026 XSE plug-in hybrid owner pressed the camera button at 72 mph. And the 360-degree camera view and the front camera view both showed up in close to real time.

Videos worth watching about the 2026 RAV4's technology features
And if you want to see the 2026 RAV4's self-parking and gauge screen in action, here are the clearest videos I found. You can play each video right here on the page with YouTube's usual controls, and under each video there's a quick summary of what it covers.
Andre from Andre Drives shows the 2026 RAV4's self-parking, Advanced Park, in three real parking situations.
- Three kinds of parking: He shows Advanced Park backing into a space, pulling into a space and parallel parking.
- How to start it: He explains you need your seatbelt on and your foot on the brake, and then you pick the parking space on the touchscreen.
- What the RAV4 does: The RAV4 steers, brakes and shifts by itself, and then puts itself in Park.
- The limits he points out: The parallel parking option only appears when the car finds a big enough gap, and he keeps his foot near the brake because the self-parking isn't perfect.
Andre from Andre Drives shows how to set up the 2026 RAV4's 12.3-inch gauge screen.
- Choosing what the gauge screen shows: He walks through the Settings menu where you pick what the gauge screen displays.
- The options: The choices include tire pressures, an eco score, trip meters and an energy monitor, plus the charging schedule and charge limit on the plug-in hybrid.
- What changed from the 2019 to 2025 RAV4: He explains that the 12.3-inch screen on the 2019 to 2025 RAV4 worked differently, moving between panels left and right.
- His point for shoppers: Every 2026 trim gets the 12.3-inch screen, so the gauge screen isn't a reason to pay for a higher trim anymore.
What about the 2027 RAV4?
So as of October 2026, Toyota hasn't announced the 2027 RAV4 for the US. When Toyota publishes the 2027 features and prices, I'll add the 2027 RAV4 to this guide.
So ultimately, on the 2026 RAV4 I'd pick the trim first, because most technology features now come with the trim rather than a package. And if the 360-degree camera matters to you, that means the 2026 XSE, Woodland, Limited or GR SPORT.
So hopefully this helps you figure out which 2026 RAV4 trim gets you the technology features that matter to you.
